I would be more exited than they would.
Also there’s a ton of kids in the world right now, if I could I would treat someone’s child and give them a break, I know tons of families with young kids who could do with a week to themselves.

My husband used to have a best friend whos family would take him on their family trips to amusement parks all the time. Fully paid for. We’ve both said since the beginning that once our little monkey has a true best friend we will treat him/her like family and totally take it with us to Disney or some other amusement park.

We had a zillion of these in my house growing up. There was one that said jack o lantern candles were made with the fat of those sacrificed to satan. Yeah. They’re called ChickTracts.

Yup I remember that one! I used to get them almost every sunday at church.

This simultaneously makes me sad that this exists and happy that I never had to grow up reading it. Oh dear.

It’s seriously depressing. I remember collecting these every sunday after church to look at and take home. People still pass these out. If you ever get bored browse through that website I linked. the tracts are horrible. They target homosexuals, Catholics.. Everyone really.
